Artist's Comments

I have a very love-hate relationship on this picture. I hate my face- it makes me look like such a dork here. But that's because my hair smacked me in the face right before the camera took the picture, so I half wincing and half laughing when it was taken. On the other hand, I love the pose, I love the skirt, I love the hair (despite smacking me in the face), I love the slight backward angle of my upper body... and I love that it really looks like I'm having fun. To me, there's a real shortage of that kind of stock photo around.

For terms of use, refer to journal.

Wow, great movement. A very usable picture.

You know, you could maybe stop making excuses about your face and expressions, you are a very lovely person and very beautiful woman, it's normal to make faces when making movements, no one looks like Milla Jovovich kicking and jumping you know, she is one lucky woman but she is not normal, she practice a lot, she gets paid to look pretty all the time, but normal people makes different expressions when turning, laughing, jumping, how is someone supose to look? I love your stock gallery, trust in yourself, you are doing a nice job, maybe a bit more of lighting and maybe better resolution perhaps? if you cannot it's ok, but light light!! I have a bunch of your pictures ready to be used.

Meep, I'm sorry! I generally use an ISO of 50, because the lower the ISO the less noise there is. However, this also darkens the picture considerably. I think I might have to start using a much higher ISO to help the lighting problem. Don't worry, you're not the first to point out the darkness- it's just proving to be quite a difficult problem to solve.

And I'm glad you like the way my face looks- they always say you're your own toughest critic, and I always thought I was pretty decently lenient on myself, but I guess I've still got a bit of work to do. :/

Hehe, it's ok, maybe it's time to get some "daylight" lamps, you know what helps a lot? to buy a cheap piece of metallic fabric, silver or gold, silver is better, you can extend the fabric on both sides, when the flash hits the fabric it will spread all over the room, it's am easy way to solve a few things.

You can just take the pictures and simply not mention what you think about how you look, it gives you more confidence to notice no one will comment on any "face" you make, people notice when you make a remark.

Oh, how funny! We both did gypsy dancers within a day of each other! That's hilarious. I really like yours. The skirt is so pretty and flowy. And you've got sparklies.

Haha, yeah, I noticed that too. When I went to read your journal I saw the pictures (it was before I checked my watch) and it was like, "Hey! She's a gypsy too!" I really like your costume, though, I intend on using one of those pictures some time or other. :)
